I Remember Momma

Mother's Day dredges up mixed feeling for me. My mother has been gone for years but she is as clear in my mind and heart as if she were still here. I was blessed with a dedicated mother who loved me. She was that old school sacrificial kind of mother that you don't see much of these days. Like most people, I didn't appreciate all the qualities of her mothering when I was a child but I am not a child anymore and I know my mother did her very best. I'm sure at a cost to herself in raising me and my sister and I am thankful. So for all the good sacrificial mothers out there and all the women operating in a mother's roll, I wish you a wonderful Mother's Day and a year of great blessing.
